+ How long does it take before you can install my pavers?

Your pavers are being manufactured to your specifications and lead times may vary. However, you can typically expect to receive your pavers within 4-6 weeks. Once your order is placed, Paver Traders will contact you with an approximate lead time.

+ Will I need a permit?

Permits vary by municipality. If a permit is required, we will obtain it on your behalf. Each municipality has different requirements for permitting and we will be happy to discuss this with you upon signing of your contract. Certain municipalities will require a recent property survey and a notarized Notice of Commencement form. We provide notary services and can complete this form during your office visit.

+ What do I need to do to get ready for my pavers to be installed?

We will contact the Sunshine State One Call (811) so that your utility locations can be marked prior to excavation. Please keep in mind we cannot see pipes, sprinklers, wires that are underground. If you are aware of the location of sprinkler lines please mark them for us. If you need to reroute any utilities or sprinkler pipes please plan to do so before your paver installation.

+ Is there anything I need to do to my home during the paver installation?

Please bear in mind your property will be a construction site and it will get messy, noisy and dusty. There are things that can be done to limit the amount of dust and dirt entering your home. Keep all doors and windows closed during installation. It’s a good idea to place towels inside the base of any doors that will meet the installation area. You may want to plan to have your house, cars, windows washed and cleaned after the installation is complete.

+ Where on my property will my pavers and material be delivered?

We will work with you to mark the location of where you would like to have your pavers, base material and sand delivered. These items may need to be placed in your grass or on your driveway. Most municipalities will not allow us to place these items in the street due to safety reasons. Please be aware that these drivers are not our employees or necessarily the employees of the manufacturers and sometimes do not do as instructed.

+ What kind of warranty comes with my pavers?

We offer a 1 year warranty on labor. Our manufacturers offer varying materials warranties but are typically for 25 years. You can read more about our warranty here.

+ Should I seal my pavers?

Sealant on your pavers is a personal preference. Sealing your pavers is a great way to extend the life, color and finish of your pavers. We recommend sealing 60 days after installation to allow your pavers to fully cure and breathe. Sealant typically lasts anywhere from 1 to 3 years depending on the quality and solids content of the sealer.
